J & L Low Voltage started in central Iowa in 2019. We're a specialty trade contractor — fiber optic and low-voltage installation is what we do. Not phone systems, not access control, not security cameras. Fiber, low-voltage, and the physical work of getting a connection from the network into a building.

We are not simply a company that installs cable inside a building. We understand the hands-on construction side of fiber deployment — the pathways, the attics, the buried drops, the occupied units. Our experience is in solving those installation challenges and completing the physical work required to turn fiber infrastructure into an active connection.
Our goal is to be the kind of installation partner that an ISP, contractor, developer, or property owner can rely on when fiber needs to get from the network into a building and ultimately to the customer.
Home base is central Iowa. The map goes farther.
We travel throughout the Midwest for fiber projects — Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Nebraska are all on the map. Wherever the network needs to get into the building, our crews go.
